My name is Danin. As a musician and the creator of Wavy Drums, I handcraft my ocean drums right here in Montréal.
Woodworking and sound exploration meet in every instrument. My wish is to offer you a drum that invites you to slow down, listen and explore sound in your own way.

How do you play an ocean drum?
Hold it with both hands and tilt it slowly. Vary the angle and speed to explore the movement of the beads and the nuances of sound.
How do I choose a size?
Your choice depends on how comfortable the drum feels in your hands and how you plan to use it. Write to Danin to discuss sizes or ask a retailer about trying an instrument.
How do I order and pay?
Add your sizes to the cart and prepare your request by email. Danin will confirm availability, taxes and delivery costs. Payment is available by Interac e-Transfer in Canada or by PayPal invoice, after the final total is confirmed.
Is the 24-inch drum available?
The 24″ Wavy Drum is made by special order only. Contact Danin for lead times and options.
